IEAM INTER ENTITY ACCOUNTING MODULE
Inter Entity Accounting Module
IEAM Overview
Sage 200 is a highly flexible business management system for small to medium enterprises and is used by many organisations that have a multi-company structure.
The Roundhouse Inter Entity Accounting Module (IEAM) is a Sage 200 enhancement that simplifies processing in a multi-company environment.
IEAM enables Purchase Ledger, Cash Book and Nominal Ledger transactions to be apportioned across multiple companies.
Key Benefits
- Remove the need for one company to raise a sales invoice to a child company, which then has to post a purchase invoice
- Eliminate cross company posting errors
- Provide a posting audit trail between companies
- Track inter-company transactions via inter-company control accounts
- Improved management reporting
Consolidated Group-wide Purchasing
Scenario: Multi-company expenses
A director at Abbey Retail Group Ltd wishes to apportion his expenses across several subsidiary companies. Rather than post individual transactions in multiple companies, a single Nominal Ledger posting may be made in the top level Abbey Retail Group company with costs apportioned to each individual subsidiary company.
In the example above, expenses are being apportioned across two companies in one single posting.
IEAM Features:
- Multi-company postings for:
- Purchase Ledger
- Nominal Ledger
- Cash Book
- Purchase Ledger
- Multi-currency
- Configurable VAT analysis
- Inter-company Nominal Ledger control accounts
